OK-I tried my hand at watercolor sketching in 'the field'. Not only did I over work it for the effect I wanted (soft color,sketch),my leaves were to intence.
So I clered my head and limited my pallet (KISS) and then worked up a color chart.
Now I can't say I am sure i did it 'right'. I don't see much how the colors worked together/or not. I layered on color down the row then crossed it with another. I find I am learning more when I mix the colors in a 'puddle'. Maybe the square intimidated me.
Here is my results just the same.
