all art work used with permision
by Susan walker copyright 2011

My sketch for the Virtual Paintout January 2011 theme: Boston. You need to use the GoogleMap Streetview application.I did this one in my moleskin with Pitt Artist Pen XF in black ink and watercolor.

Again , sorry the image is dark, no sun here at the window sill of the hospital room. :/

Lovely sketch! =) That's such a beautiful perspective, the people, the transports, the trees are all very subtle and delicate, but well defined.

What can one say, that Alex has not said. I agree with him. Had a little browse on your blog and love your work. When light is low on the window sill, check the 'white balance' on your camera and you can use the light in the room to get a good picture. You may know this though.

Good idea to use Google street view when you can't get out and about. You did a good job on this one!

I always say I'm going to do this...it is on my 'want to do' list, but every time I try, I can never settle on a view! This is wonderful!
