Bee here inpen and ink

Pen and ink on Strathmore smooth Bristol

Going through those photos I take for reference .Did you know Bumble bees do not lose their sting and die if they use it, as a honey bee will.Remeber to encourage the bumble bee in your garden or farm when spring gets here and she will repay your kindness by pollinating your flowers, fruit and vegetables and giving you an excellent set on your blossom.I just love bees.

Excellent sketch, such detail. I didn't know that about the bumbles. They have always fascinated me. I do know that hornets don't lose their stingers after one sting. They will chase you down & sting you as many times as they can. Nasty buggers!

Wonderful! I love pictures with lots of details! Adorable bumblebee!
I'm obsessed with bees/bumblebees. Always trying to get a good picture of them on flowers and stuff, but, most of the time, they're to fast...

I love Bumble bees. I have some great photos of them. I am sketching from some of them. Maybe a whole Spring and Summer Journal. Love the artwork.
