Base Ball Tournaments and Sketching Time on a Summer Day

Ball point pen on 140# Exact Index Paper

Colton entered into day two of the local baseball tournaments. Held on the community fields in Slippery rock. Though HOT, I sketched and watched his team lose one, win one, lose one. These subjects too cheered them on.

I like your sketches, but I like even more the little 'weather report' on the top left corner of the second one. I usually start my written journal entries with talks about the weather ;-)

These are really nice! You did a fine job capturing the poses.... and, I like the weather report, too! nancy

Great sketches, I like the angle you chose.

Thanks for the kind comments. I can say I have developed a habit of the weather reprot. I put it down on the first page of the day. sometimes updating it later in the day if I draw again. When I really have some time or later I will add color. Just a busy thing to do when the brain goes knumb.
I am getting better too at the backs of people. I have to get myself into postions where I can get some font on sometime too.
Again, thanks for stopping!

PITT are great, but I know that great artists can make great art using whatever tool he/she has in his/her hands. =)
And your ball point pen art rocks!
