Art and Literature

I got to the library to get some books to go with my pre-school Art and Literature Classes. I just love a good kids book. This "Pie in the Sky" is 'illustrated' with cut paper and a little mixed media. We will be doing some of the same,

Splat the Cat is always a favorite.

The Matisse book you see hear is very informative and great examples. Though just a heads up-I don't recommend it for youngsters as it has several examples of his work with nudes. As informative as this one is I am still holding out for one with more of his cut paper work in it. I'll let you know what I find.

Any suggestions would be great too!
