Some other images I mixed in while I kept records of our stay at the hospital. It has been a great source or reference now home. I have been reading Danny Gregry's "Creative Licence"over the last 2 months. I remeber it when I am looking about and think there is n'nothing to draw'. In a nut shell he believes draw anything and everything. Nothing it not appropriate.

Your visual journal will be very valuable to you plus it looks like a good way to relieve stress. I hope things will be much better very soon for you and your son.
I don't know the history here but it doesn't sound good.
I think your sketching is fabulous and a great way to get those emotions out of your mind and onto the paper.
I stopped in to answer your question from your recent visit to my blog (thanks). I do sketch during the service because there are not a lot of people around me (7am). I use a small watercolor moleskine and pen to sketch it out and then watercolor it at home. It is amazing how unobtrusive you can be. Someone suggested that the priest probably thinks I am taking notes :)! Good luck trying it.
I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble finding meds that work for your son. Sketching is a great activity for the long waiting you do at a hospital. I guess Gregory's book came in real handy for you.
wow what wonderful drawings. thanks for sharing it all with us Creative mom podcast listeners. my prayers are with you.
